Setting up Virtual Meeting Modules

The Modules Tab (see Figure) will only appear if any of the Virtual Meeting module(s) (chat module) are installed and turned on by the Global Administrator.

You now have the option of using the Module(s) for your forum.

 

For descriptions of the settings for each module select the appropriate module: Chat Module.

 

Chat Module Field Descriptions

The following is a list of the fields available for the “Chat” module:

 

Field

Description

Meeting Scheduler

the ability to schedule meetings within the forums.

 

Organize Meetings

the ability to have everyone or members who are part of a group schedule meetings.

 

Outlook Integration

the ability to integrate Microsoft Outlook as the meeting notify of scheduled meetings.

 

Live Chat Server

the ability to enable or disable the chat server.

 

Allow Quick Chats

the ability to allow users to start chat sessions from within the forum messages themselves.  An additional icon “” would appear within the additional features area within the forums.  This is how quick chats would commence.

 

Allow Room Creation

the ability to choose whether the room management feature or the ability to create rooms is enabled or disabled.

 

Permission Check Frequency

how often the permission check function runs within the chat server.

 

Refresh Room List Frequency

how often the room list will refresh itself within the chat server.

 

Refresh Active Users Frequency

how often the users last visited date updates within the chat server.
